Working as a cook again

"I am 52 years old, a trained chef, and have been in Germany for over five years. Here in Germany, however, I have worked as a cleaner and production assistant. I found out about the Welcome Center Ostwürttemberg through my daughter, who in turn learned about this service through her B2 German course at the DAA Aalen. I contacted the Welcome Center because I needed help finding a suitable job. The Welcome Center helped me enormously. They helped me prepare my application documents and searched with me for suitable positions so that I could find a job in the kitchen again.

I would turn to the Welcome Center for help again anytime, because with their help I found a great job in my field and can now work as a cook again. Working with the Welcome Center is something very special to me, because it was the only place where people listened to me, understood me, and helped me find my dream job."
