Our Welcome Center is publicly funded. Therefore, all services are free of charge.
This includes consultations as well as participation in our events.
We offer consultations in person, online, by phone, or by email. You do not need an appointment during our office hours; you can simply drop by. There may be a wait time. For consultations by phone or online, we will arrange appointments with you.
You can also conveniently use our appointment booking tool to reserve a suitable appointment directly online.
We are an advice center, which means we provide you with helpful information and can refer you to other important contacts if necessary.
Finding you a job or training program is not part of our remit. However, with our support, you will generally improve your chances of finding work or training. You can also get in touch with companies through our events, such as excursions to employers or speed dating for skilled workers.
Learning German will make it much easier for you to settle in and work in Germany. We therefore recommend that you learn German before you arrive.
How good your German needs to be depends on various factors and requirements, such as visa regulations, type of activity (work, training, study), employer, etc.

As a consulting institution, we are not permitted to recruit or place skilled workers and compete with public or private recruiters. However, through our consultations and events, we may be able to draw attention to your need for skilled workers and establish contacts within the scope of our capacities. In addition, there are national and international projects through which you can recruit skilled workers or trainees.
Please contact us for details.
Yes. Employees with a migration background from Germany or abroad often have questions about integration, recognition, or family reunification. We are happy to help with this.
We will be happy to show you the options available under residence law, e.g., the fast-track procedure for skilled workers, and provide you with all the information and documents you need. If necessary, we will help where necessary so that the skilled worker can be hired as planned. However, not all external factors such as bureaucratic requirements, visa regulations, etc. can be influenced.
Companies benefit from events designed to build expertise in areas such as recruiting, presenting recruitment projects, integrating skilled workers into their own companies, the Skilled Workers Immigration Act, etc. As the Welcome Center for the region, we offer our own events as well as events within the state network. Please take a look at our event calendar.
