"I came to Germany in early 2022 under the Balkan regulation, but without my wife. Dijana had to stay in Serbia. I contacted the Welcome Center because I had questions about family reunification and also about extending my visa. They were very helpful. They gathered all the relevant information for us and gave us expert advice. As a result, Dijana was able to join me just a few months later. Without the Welcome Center, the family reunification process would certainly have taken longer. In my case, the option of online counseling was also very helpful. I work full-time and it's not easy to make appointments in the morning or early afternoon. Fortunately, the Welcome Center team is flexible and offered me online appointments in the late afternoon. And, of course, receiving advice in our native language was a huge relief for us. Working with the Welcome Center is easy and reliable.
