At the end of last year, I learned about the Welcome Center Ostwüttemberg's “Working in Germany” event through social media. This event was specifically for Ukrainians and was held in Russian, so I decided to attend. After the event, I had some questions about the recognition process, so I made an appointment with the Welcome Center team for a consultation. During the consultations, I not only received valuable advice, but was also made aware of the unique opportunity of speed dating. I am particularly grateful for this today. First, we were prepared for speed dating by a professional job coach during the “Job Interview and Elevator Pitch” workshop. The Welcome Center team then continued to support me in optimizing my resume. Well prepared, I took part in the speed dating and had a short conversation with three companies. And in the end, I was matched with Kärcher Industrial Vacuuming GmbH.
